breed and gender??

got this chick from the bantam bin at tractor supply, not sure on the breed. its probably mixed breed but its got curious coloring, so im interested in what it could be, pure or mixed, as well as gender. anyone have any clue? not the bestt picture, i know, if you need a different angle, ill try and get one for you

Looks like a Golden Laced Cochin. Unsure on sex at this point. Is that wattle starting I see? Possible roo, if so.

ah that makes sense! even if you cant tell the gender yet (i was more concerned with breed, so didnt get a good head shot), at least i know the breed now. its got some white tipped feathers. is that normal?

got a couple better pictures, and while we are at it, any ideas on what my other chick is? breed and gender (if possible).

first, 2 better shots of the cochin (im going with it). these show the white on the feathers. is that typical or just because its a hatchery bird?


and the other chick we got. since the other is a cochin, i wonder if this one is one as well? maybe a blue cochin?

They do both look like cochins. I wouldn't worry about the white feathers on the gold laced bird, I think it's just a juvenile plumage thing and she'll grow out of it.
