These guys were a month old yesterday. I hatched them out of medium sized brown eggs that I purchased locally. The woman stated that she had cuckoo maran, barred rock, and easter eggers in her flock. I threw the in the incubator as packing peanuts for my two silkie eggs, and am curious what I got! The yellow chipmunk chick has feathered out white and black, and her legs are looking slate so I am guessing EE and looks like a pullet to me. The BR looking chick feathered out at the same rate, but the comb is making me think cockerel. The brown chick is about 2 weeks behind in feathering out it seems and didn't look like any chick pics that I could find. Has dark legs, hatched with a white spot on its head, and has a pea comb. Any opinions on gender or breed are appreciated!
