Yeah, that’s what he thought anyway. But the chicks were only about 3 weeks old at the time. Do you think it might be something different? That’s good to know about the color not being specific to the gender, we can’t keep any roosters. But out of 11 chicks we have only had one for sure rooster that we got rid of. The rest look like hens to me so far.Google says the iridescence on the feathers is the breed, not 1 sex or another. Are you saying he said that grey bird is jersey giant!?!?!
