Breed and or gender help appreciated

Wow, this app is terrible.

Any ideas on breed of these two? They are both 8 weeks old now and no sign of any comb yet (is that odd?). I assume female for both since there is no comb. The first two pictures are different views of the same chicken. View attachment 2739442View attachment 2739443View attachment 2739444
Sorry I'm going back through this thread and wanted to chime in and say that while the first bird is a Columbian Wyandotte, the second is a White Chantecler. I don't believe many hatchery commonly stocks White Wyandottes and it appears to have a cushion rather than rose comb :)

Here are one of each of our white leghorn and brown sexlink. They are about 18 weeks old. Any thoughts on when we will get eggs? Or do either look like roosters at this point? The white leghorns combs are surprisingly floppy. Thanks for any input.View attachment 2827332
The Leghorn is very close to laying, you have a bit longer for the Sexlink :)

Makes more sense.

Good to know. The Columbian definitely has a different personality than the white one so it would make sense that they were different. Thanks. And man is that Columbian Wyandotte huge, she’s significantly bigger than the rest of the chickens and she just does her own thing, doesn’t really mingle with the rest. And she’s the last to bed. It’s been very interesting to see the different personalities.
