Breed and or gender help appreciated

Got our first egg this morning from one of our white leghorns (about 20 weeks old). The egg is a little smaller. Will the eggs get larger as the chicken gets larger? The leghorns are our smallest chickens right now, even though they started out as some of the largest chicks.

Yep! Theyll definitely get bigger. Leghorn hens a more petite than say an orpington, but they lay early on and lay well. We love our leghorns!

Oh yeah, their eggs get much bigger. They lay pretty big eggs for such a small bird. Our leghorn lays an egg everyday!

We have 4 Jersey Giants about 22 weeks old and none have started laying yet. This one has had a larger red comb and waddles for a week and a half now and the others don’t show any signs of turning red yet. It looks like a hen to me, but do you all think it could be a rooster?
