Breed and/or gender

Hi there! First time chicken owner and first time Backyard Chicken post! All of these guys hatched almost 4 weeks old and are a “barnyard mix”. I know it’s super early to sex but would love any help with that or breed!

It looks like Bubba might be a Buff Orpington or a Buff Chantecler and Barbara Jean could be either a BR or a Cuckoo Maran.

Also, Sour Deisel, Nug, and possibility Barbara Jean are cockerels.

Barnyard mix usually means they're mixed breeds

It will become infinitely easier to tell what they are (breed and gender wise) around 6 weeks. Though I agree with @DancingDucks
