Breed/sex? These two are about 8 weeks old. The grayish one has feathers starting to stand straight up on his/her head. My daughters gave them girl names so crossing my fingers. :) Thanks!

The two chickens in the bottom picture look like a rooster (barred chicken) and a hen (what appears to be a Buff Orpington or Buff Rock). The barred chicken I think I know the breed of, but I just forget the name. Sorry.

The bantam on top looks to be a mottled Old English Game. If its younger then about 18 weeks its probably a rooster as well.

Those are beautiful birds!

That light coloring of barred can be seen in certain breeds of chickens. I'm still trying to find out what the breed name is I'm thinking of.

The barred bird is not a pure barred rock, it is too light and it is developing a crest. Still can't remember what the breed name is.

The other one is Buff in color, but it could be an Orpington, a Rock, or even a Cochin!

At 8 weeks, the comb development means they're likely cockerels. The grey one is probably a Polish mix, and the black/white one in the first photo may be a Mottled Japanese bantam (if bantam sized), a Mottled Ancona, or a mix.
