You give me hope that you found something that works. I swore I'd never use a crow collar but I'm so attached to this one, now I'm thinking about it, has yours ever seemed bothered by it?? Its not cruel?
 
Agree that there's no doubts about him being a cockerel. The wing bars and the pointy saddle feathers don't lie.

Be careful with no-crow collars. I've read about people who haven't applied them properly and strangled their chickens.

Are the collars like a one time applied thing? Can I have a vet do it once or does it need to be taken on and off often, do you know? I didnt wanna use this but... I dont wanna lose him
 
It's just a velcro wrap. It bothered my rooster occasionally and he'd walk backwards like trying to get it off but overall bothered him none overall. Sadly recently lost him to a dog. He was a pretty light Brahma.
i had to put it on twice as the first time wasn't tight enough to cut down the volume enough. Just put it on, watch him awhile to make sure he's breathing normally, eating, drinking and such.
