Breed/Gender- My kid seriously loves this chicken

OK, so I am a first time suburban mom chicken owner. We got our chicks from Tractor Supply, and my kid absolutely loves this one in the picture with her. It is approximately 9 to 10 weeks old, and friendly. They told us it was an "assorted red" - whatever that means.

Hoping it's a pullet... Opinions? Breed?

Truthfully, that is what I thought from day one with this one, but he's just so funny and friendly. Maybe he won't crow too loud...? Lol That would be the only reason we wouldn't keep him. Violates our city ordinance, but our immediate neighbors would probably be OK if he didn't crow at 5am.

You may want to look into a no-crow collar, this video shows how a guy made his and it works really well
