breed/gender? This chicken has puffy cheek feathers

looks like a blue marans cross with an ee to give you an ee rooster but he probably doesn't carry the colored egg gene since he has a single comb

My first impression was boy... But age would really help as those legs look quite thick.

Tricky, looks boyish but I can't see any pointy saddle or hackle feathers.

I also think cockerel, but age is kind of critical for this. I agree, those are some tree trunk legs!

How many toes? There's something about those white legs and its face that makes me wonder about the possibility of it being a faverolles cross...

No idea on sex but my own faverolles cross pullet has really thick legs, so there's hope!
