Cockerel

Some cockerels just never crow much, especially when another rooster is in charge. My avatar, my slo Taji, never crows while in the same area as the alpha roo. Why draw attention to yourself when someone else can beat you up and you can't beat them? If your young cockerel rises in the ranks and becomes the alpha, he'll start to "announce" his victories.

Agree on it being a cockerel because of the sharply pointed feathers on his head. Ditto on what homeschooling momma says, he is not wanting to draw attention to himself yet...

Not leghorn. Missing the white ear lobes. Probably a white rock. Definite cockerel.

He's definitely a cockerel. I'm not sure about the breed though.
