breed...gender?

We ordered 3 Light Brahma pullets...2 seem to be but one does not look like the others. 2 are getting white feathers in while the third is black with a pattern..The one in front and not sure if pullet. About 6 weeks old.

It's waaay too soon to even venture a guess at such a young age. Please re-post pics when around 8-10 weeks...that should do it!

I just posted on your pic, don't see it, so I will do it again here...the black and white barred one, appears to be a barred rock pullet...post again in a week or two.

I'm going with pullets only because the females cam feather in like the one in the middle, very beautiful chicks by the way. I have light buff and dark brahmas and I just love how friendly they are.

Oh my mistake, I thought you were asking about the one in middle, I didn't realize you were talking about the one in front. What kind of comb does it have? If straight comb it's a BR, if a rose comb than it's a Dominique.
