She’s a silkie x Cochin which I’ve heard satin used as a term for a lot. I didn’t know it had more uses!Satins are pretty much, none Silkied Silkies(Smooth Feathered). True Satins will have all characteristics of a Silkie, but without the fuzz.
Silkie mixes are sometimes called Satins.

Yep! I’ve noticed they look different depending on which one you get- the breeders here have mixtures of normal feathers and fluffy feathers (must be where they got the name “wooly chicken” from) it’s really interesting!Really? They certainly can look alot like a Silkie due to their Heritage.
