The rooster is a birchen marans.

Thats super cool! Hopefully we'll get some cool looking barnyard mixes. Hes so huge, it'll be awhile before he can go in with this batch of chicks.

Many breeds come in blue splash. I'm not sure you could definitively ID the breed at this point.
