This is one chicken that I have no idea about.... hope this is a good photo... she's kind of small.. no comb really..

she's very docile and sweet..

In this photo she is about 4 months.. she actually looks the same now at 1 year old.. not very big.... not the brightest out of the bunch either..she lays brown/tinted eggs.

She IS a Dark Cornish and I bet you are going to love her. I had 8 for my starter flock. I was frustrated they wouldn't lay when I first got them. Well, they did, it was August, then a week later they just about quit altogether, 1 egg a day. It got down to -20F for a few days and they started laying an egg every day! They are my favorite breed and variety! I have 11 eggs that went into lockdown yesterday.

BTW, that is my hatchery roo in my avatar, Dumbledore. I love him to bits, but I have to show him who is boss in the yard, so he doesn't like me as much.

She is a year old this week. She had a sister who I also loved, but passed this winter. I do LOVE her!

I wish I had more of her breed. She is so sweet. They looked like chipmunks as chicks. This one's name is charlie and her sister was Mr. Lucky (the neighbors kids came over and named her MR. because she swore it was a rooster haha!). Thanks for tips everyone! dark cornish it is!

Definately Dark Cornish I have 30 of them right now almost 5 weeks old! One of them perched in my lap/on my arm for over an hour yesterday just to cuddle..... super sweet birds, SO FAR!
