So, i decided to do a farm and fleet chick days order. They use cackle hatchery. I raise appenzeller spitzhauben and I wanted to improve the spangling as mine have too much. I like the way cackle's spitzies look and they are trying to improve the breed. Anyway, I ordered 6 straight run. I picked them up yesterday and when they handed me the box, first glance look ok, but there were also ducks in there and everyone was running around and teying to make a mash up ball of feathers. Now today, I've handled each one after separating from the ducks, and 4 out of the 7 (1 extra was sent) are clearly different. I dont know what they are though. The feathers are coming in white. Anyone know?
