Interesting. They do not look like any identifiable breed I am aware of. Please post as they feather in.These were given to a friend by someone who couldn't care for them, but neither of us know what breed they are. Can anyone identify them? None have feathered feet
They were from a TSC! But they were a breed they didn't get often and only had a few of for easter. The guy who worked there couldn't tell us either which... y'know very helpful but not gonna pin the blame on some guy who just works there lolThey look a little like one of our yellow chicks that we think is most likely a Golden Comet (the other possibility being ISA Brown). Except our chick with this coloration also has 2 faint golden chipmunk stripes going down her back. They make her look a little like a sunflower seed, which is why we named her Sunflower.
Do you know at which store they were purchased? If it was a TSC or another store that gets chicks from Hoovers, they might be Golden Comets? I'm very much a newbie to chickens, though, so take this all with a big grain of salt.
We thought that might be it but apparently they were a breed the store didn't get very often, so still not sureIsa brown (red sex-link)
