That's odd. I know hatchery birds aren't up to the standard of perfection but they're not usually mixed, which is honestly what those combs are pointing towards. I know it's really common for hatchery wyandottes to have single combs, but I've never really heard about that problem in brahmas. Maybe they really are brahmas, just very poor hatchery quality. I know size is a common fault in hatchery birds, especially the larger breeds like brahma and jersey giants.I got them at Rural King. Yes, the combs is what made me second-guess them actually being Brahmas…

Ok so she still is young, 16 weeks. She was labeled buff Brahma… does she look like one?!
