Breed index and temperment contradictions.

I'm not sure which area this topic would best fit, but I find the contradictory temperment discriptions in the breed index kinda irritating. I don't see how a bird can be flighty and calm or aggresive and friendly. It seems sloppy to me and easily fixable. I had to refer to other sites and their discriptions when looking for breeds to add to my own flock.

The problem is that temperaments vary DRASTICALLY between individual lines and hatchery vs. breeder, etc. When I'm looking at breeds, I pay absolutely no attention to it at all unless it is consistent from every source I check. (And really, you should be checking multiple sources when shopping anyway.)

That is what I thought! Wonder why they bother with the temperment at all anyway, especially if it just makes a person confused. Oh well. No biggy
