I think they're Orpingtons, if you look at the wings and tail you can see the light speckling commonly seen in hatchery quality buff Orpingtons, and they are too pale. Not trying to nit pick your comment, sorry.

No worries! I just now got my own first flock (only helped my parents with theirs before and like I said only really had experience with the RIRs so when I see red that's what comes to mind lol. I love chickens and am learning a lot from this group so I appreciate pointing out the differences)
