Breed of bantam???

Anyway you look at it you have a brahma and they are a great breed to have. My daughter pulls ours in her wagon and we take it for walks downtown in it! We live in a very small town, so we can get away with it without looking strange! :)

I just checked her again and it looks like the wing feathers are brown with a tanish gold. So, does this mean dark?

I don't have a great camera so I apologize if the color wasn't accurate in the pictures.

Omg I just realized I was writing to a different poster about the light brahmas and put it on this one! I apologize ladycat for that and to the poster.

Too cute! She really is the sweetest chick. So far acts very much like a pullet. Its our first brahma so we're excited to get to know the breed!

Omg, I knew what I saw was a light brahma and then you were saying it wasn't and I never looked at the pic again, instead I just went on and on. Again I apologize! :idunno

And if I would have payed attention I would have seen the pattern on the wings, classic dark brahma! :he

At what age were/are you able to start feather sexing the dark brahmas? I understand cockerels get a black in the front where the pullets have more lacing? Of course without another brahma to compare it to I may not figure it out for awhile.

I'd say about 4-6 weeks. Here is a good pic of both,
