I order from Meyer a lot. Since this is a substitute chick, I would assume that it's a she. Also, what was she a sub for? Meyer usually tries to substitute with something that's close to what you ordered.
It's really hard to tell this young. However--what type of comb does the baby have? If it's a pea comb, then this may be an Easter Egger. I see a suspicion of fluffy cheeks.
If its a single comb, then she's probably a RIR or Production Red.Thank you. I am almost certain she's a RIR. But I still can't help but wonder. It looks to me like she has a single comb. Of course, I'm a first time chicken owner and I can only say this because it's the same comb as my Delaware. I had to look up what type of comb delaware's have LOL.
