breed of roo, please

hey everyone,
can anyone please, tell me if my roo [his name is Rocky] is a BR or maybe sexlink? He was sold to us as BR, but we are thinking maybe with the legs being whitish he may not be a BR. I think I read on here somewhere that BR have yellow legs, is that right? Any thoughts on Rocky anyone?

I'm so confused

. so what color of legs are black sex-link? You know I think I've just got some mixed up chickens:

! Which is ok, I just like to be able to say "oh, those are buffs or BR [or whatever breed they are]", something like that anyways. I think we have some very pretty chickens and it's not like we are going to be hatching any to sell. I just would like to know what they are

BSLs have yellow legs because the two breeds they are created from both have yellow legs.

thanks speckledhen, so BR and BSL have yellow legs but cockoo marans don't? Am I getting this right? Are there any more breeds that would look like BR, I mean with the black & white coloring? I know Dominiques [spelling] do, but other than those.

Dominiques have yellow legs and rose combs and a slightly different body type, too. Cuckoo Marans have white legs. Barred Hollands are pretty rare, but they have yellow legs, too, and lay white eggs.

I just love those barred roosters! They're pretty in a Dr.Suessish kind of way. Yes- I just made that word up.
