Hi all. Would appreciate any thoughts or ideas. My RIR Nana seemed fine one day and very sick the next (Monday night). She barely walked back into the enclosed run and allowed me to pick her up. She was too weak to run away. I checked her crop which was soft and squishy, and her abdomen which felt fine except for being skinny. When I brought her into the house to keep her warm she 'vomited' a large amount of water so I assumed sour crop and have been checking her several times a day. Gave her soft food and water but she hasn't eaten more than a little taste since I brought her in and she isn't drinking either. When she does eat she does the neck stretching thing I found when researching ways to help her. I'm afraid I'm losing the battle. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
FYI, I deworm them every six months or so, use deep litter method that I cleaned out on Sunday (although it was left in the run because I had another emergency that needed my attention and all the girls dig in it), and I feed them a layer feed, and daily cabbage, mealworms, corn when it's cold and various herbs, spices and AVC in the water though they didn't have that over the winter. They always have fresh water during the day but not at night.
