So I purchased 4 "hens" from someone who assured me they were indeed hens and they were Americanas (I know spelling is off) also. ...obviously he was wrong on the hen part....so I am assuming he is part easter egger....what do you think the other part might be?? Regardless he is beautiful and we love him!!!

Easter Egger cockerel. Hatcheries tend to call them Americanas, so that's probably why the name was given to you.

He's an Easter egger. They come in all different colors, so not necessarily mixed with anything else.
