Where did you get him from? He looks a lot like how a red sex link pullet is colored, but you're right, the males are white. He might be like a second generation sex link or perhaps a cross?

I don't have any experience with comets but aren't they basically the same thing as a sex link, just different name? Like I said, I have no experience there but that's what I had always thought.

There are lots of crosses that produce different red sex links. Comets are White Rocks with the silver factor x New Hampshire roo.
