I posted that late last night and forgot to add all the information sorry guys! I got them from D&L which is supposed to only sell pure breeds but I'm learning quickly that is not so.
They both have single combs, my photo taking skills are not the best.
I looked at legs this morning and they look to be a light yellow or dark white color. Little buggers are fast and since i got them older they don't come to me like my other ones.

They have gold ring markings from top of head to about shoulders, then it goes to a dark gray color splashed on and has speckling mixed in with that.

Took these this morning

They kinda look like easter egger legs. Their backs remind me of my speckled sussex. I have to agree, they are some sort of crossbreed, or maybe a few generations of crossbreed. Egg color (once they lay) can give you a better idea of possible breeds, but you might never know. On the plus side, mutt chickens always look cool (imo)!

I have an orange and black EE that i love dearly... I totally agree! I'm bummed though as the mixed have the best personalities and no way to copy that here :( since no idea what they mixed....
