Breed question

I know she is a cochin breed, however her color pattern is not anything I have ever seen. Anyone else seen this coloring before?

I haven't seen that coloring before on a Cochin. It almost looks like Wheaten.

her feathering on her back is red in the middle fanning out to a white edging, like a lace pattern.

I think she's a red Cochin.

Ideal poultry has a breeding stock of the color and offers them. My red Chantecler (also offered by ideal poultry) had almost the same exact color.

we got her from mcmurrary hatchery and had a red cochin along with this one, they didn't look anything alike. the red one we had was all red but alas this one wasn't. maybe a cross breed then?
