I purchased a small flock of 5 in 2018. 2 EE's, 1 BR, 1 BA and 1 SS.
One of the EE ended up male and the BR was a complete bully, she even stared attacking me, although I didn't realize this was what she was doing at the time. She was definately a hen as she laid eggs. I ended up re-homing her.
I was left with 1 BA, 1 EE and 1 SS. These 3 girls are fantastic and each gives me an egg about 5 times per week. Very friendly, follow me around. The EE is the top hen but is very sweet to the other girls, she can be a bit loud at times. The SS can also be a bit loud at times but she is really sweet. The BA is probably the best hen I have. She is quiet, very docile and just a sweetie pie.
