Breed Science-- making a new breed.

ok, so should i just beileve it for now
You could.

I've been working on my Wheaten Crele Orpingtons since 2018, it's time consuming, & tricky since my project consists of Buff Orpingtons, Barred Rocks(For Barring), & Australorps. With all this breeding I have discovered my line of Orpingtons have the partridge gene.

I have a cockerel that looks Partridge X Columbian, but need to confirm this first. I'll share him later.

The pullet pictured is of 3rd generation.

I guess I don’t understand why it’s such a problem Mutchi wants to create a new breed....? They perfectly understand that it costs money and time so why try and stop them? 🤷🏼‍♀️ That’s just my opinion, I don’t wanna start a fight.

I'm not. I'm all for it, & glad to assist.

I do sell chicks, but it's local pick up only, if you'd like any of my birds at some point.

I'm currently downsizing my bantam flock, & working to find homes for some roosters/cockerels. Found somebody who wants the Bantam hens, & my other extra Malay cockerel.

Just thought I'd let you know. This isn't an ad.

The first part is because they have had several threads about illnesses, overcrowding and obese animals.
Also they originally wanted to breed to an owl or turkey to gain mass quickly, and create a turducken
