Got this girl at Tractor Supply. She is bigger than her sister (grey). I don’t have a clue what breed she is. Her name is Corona cause she was a mean little snot even as a young chick. She has mellowed but is skittish.

Do you have a picture of her comb? Her sister is a rosecomb bantam.
She really doesn’t have one. She’s about 11/12 weeks old. The close up is not a good one. You can prob blow up the other one to get a better look.

@MysteryChicken
I'm just curious because I don't know much about this breed. Is your cockerel mean like the Sumatra pullet in question (although poster did state she's not as bad with age)? I know that personality is individual, but I just love to learn about all things chicken related.

Black Sumatra.
I have a cockerel of that breed.

My Sumatra is super snuggly since I tamed him early on by handling him while he was a fuzz ball. I still handle him.
Sumatra roosters will be aggressive during breeding season, towards other Sumatra roosters, & their keeper. After breeding season is done, they're back to their non-aggressive selves.

Have you ever experienced that, or it is only what you’ve read? I wouldn’t expect all Sumatra roos to have the same personality at breeding season. Then again, I’ve never had one.
