Thank you for that info.

I ordered a “heavy egg laying“ package of 15 chickens.

I sent pictures to the hatchery Whom I bought the chickens from 10 weeks,
and they are not wanting to help me figure out what breeds I have.

I went to a ‘bird farm’ Who accepted my rooster ..because I can not have a rooster in the city.

I was hoping at that bird farm, they would be able to help me determine the breeds. But they did not seem to have a lot of experience with doing that.

I think that dark brown one might be an Americana maybe.
One of the redish/brown ones is making cooing noises louder than the other two of the same color, I hope it’s not a rooster

From what I can tell your red ones look like Red Sex Links (known by many other names) and your white ones look like White Rocks. Post good clear close-ups of the birds in question and we can give it a go! Welcome to BYC!😊

The dark brown black one that you’re calling an Americana is likely an Easter Egger and unfortunately it may very well be a male. Post good clear photos of this one individually with a close-up of the comb & side view of the whole bird.

He did act very defensive for the others in their young chick days, which is why we thought he might be a rooster. We were hoping that he would be a chicken because we like the personality
