Was told by someone today at a swap meet that they resembled cuckoo Marian's. what do you think.

Where did you get them?

I hatched them from eggs that were given to me. Unknown origin so I can't ask what kind of chickens he has. Fresh eggs sold at a farmers market

looks like Barred rocks and a Golden Laced Wyandotte not positive until they feather out

x2, mostly barred chicks and I'm seeing mostly rose combs.

Yeah, probably mostly mixed. You may have some pure bred birds, but you'll have to wait until they're older to see for sure. Probably Wyandottes and barred Rocks. Could be Dominiques also, or simply mixes of Wyandottes and Rocks---that can look like a Dominique mix pretty easily....
