I have the rooster, 2 rhode island reds, 1 black sexlink, 1 wyandotte and 1 plymouth rock. It's very strange, the rooster and reds hang together and the black n whites hang together. They have self segregated. Only the reds are laying. I'm hoping the blacks are going to start laying soon.

I have a RIR, her name is Sparkles, and she loves to hang out with roosters, especially my rooster Duke. Whereas Dougles ' four daughters doesn't care so much for Duke.

Pretty names. This hen in my picture on the left is named Duchess. She is a Black star, or Black Sex-link. My other two Black Stars is named Victoria and Jazz.

I also have a Barred Plymouth Rock named Pearl. She and my Silkie mix hen, Basil, has made friends and is always together.
