Hi I’m a first time chicken owner. I ordered 15 chickens off crackle hatchery. I ordered 5 Easter eggers 5 olive eggers and 5 blue eggers pack which could have any of the following. Cream Legbar, Black Ameraucana, Blue Ameraucana, Lavender Ameraucana, White Ameraucana or Splash Ameraucana. I ended up with 16 chicks and no idea which are which. I do have 4 chicks that are a couple weeks older I got from tractor supply that I know what they. Wyandotte and 3 isa browns I think. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's hard to tell with Easter Eggars they're also different. I had one olive egger (only one) that had a small head tuft but the only other ones I've seen on that list are the light bars and that's one of their normal things. Seems like I have Easter Eggars with muffs and some without and all different sizes

It may be tough to tell until they're older, honestly. I'm not sure what Cackle is using for their olive eggers but its generally a dark brown layer crossed with a blue layer like ameraucana or cream legbar. If the blue is legbar, the OE can have a crest. Or not. Similarly, EE can have muffs or not and come in all different colors.

Your blue layer pack may be easiest to identify since they're not mixes. Unfortunately, I don't know a lot about Ameraucanas. The ones with the crests do look like legbars. We love ours.

Sorry I'm not more help but you should get some beautiful eggs.

5 Easter eggers 5 olive eggers and 5 blue eggers pack which could have any of the following. Cream Legbar, Black Ameraucana, Blue Ameraucana, Lavender Ameraucana, White Ameraucana or Splash Ameraucana.

Cream Legbar should have a tuft of feathers on the head, and a single comb.

Ameraucana should all have muff/beard (fat faces), and a pea comb.

Olive Eggers and Easter Eggers are crosses, so they could have any traits.

Easter Eggers often look like sort-of Ameraucanas (pea comb, muff/beard).

Cackle's website says their Olive Eggers are a cross of Cream Legbar and Welsummer, so it's likely that a bunch of the brown-with-crest birds are Olive Eggers. (Some other hatcheries use other crosses for Olive Eggers, so some look very different than others.)

Some of the details are hard to see in the pictures, but I think I see:

Photo 1 and 4 are probably Olive Eggers.

Photo 2-3 might be a lavender or splash Ameraucana.

Photo 5, one probable Olive Egger in front, one Easter Egger in back.

Photo 6, cockerel, has me a bit puzzled--probably Olive Egger or Easter Egger.

Photo 7-11 have some blue (dark gray) chickens and some black ones, that are likely Ameraucanas.

Photo 8, the white one with a black tail and black feathers at the base of the neck (like a necklace) is probably a Columbian Wyandotte--I think it's one of the ones that did not come from Cackle Hatchery.

Photo 12-13 probably Easter Egger, maybe the same one as in photo 5.
