Can anyone tell me what breed this duckling is? It is about 6 weeks old. I’m not sure how to tell gender either.

You can tell by the white markings. Swedish ducks have a "bib", or a white mark that only covers the front of the neck and breast. Only swedish and some swedish hybrids have that mark.Thank you. We were told Black Swedish or Kovac I think... But I don’t know the difference to be able to tell, haha.

Most swedish get a broken mark. I've never seen a true solid mark before, but I'm sure there are ducks with a solid mark.Even though it’s broken up and not solid?
Same breed, just different color varieties. This duck is a black swedish.he is either Swedish blue, or Swedish black. not sure wich though.
She looks like my duck Winnie and her brother Roxy and they are half pekin and half Mallard. Is there a Kovac breed? That is my last name,..weirdThank you. We were told Black Swedish or Kovac I think... But I don’t know the difference to be able to tell, haha.
