Hello everyone! We had this sweet duck land in our yard today. Very calm and doesn’t seem to mind people.
I think it’s may be a girl but I’m not sure. It hasn’t quacked yet. Very dark brown with some golden on chest and backside.
Can anyone tell me the breed?

Looks like a mix. My guess would be Cayuga/mallard or cayuga/rouen.

Thank you! Unfortunately it flew away late yesterday.
Due to how friendly it was we thought it would stick around but off it went. I was hoping it would come back today but no luck.
