Breed?

Looks like a lot of Hatchery GS I see on here. Where did you get him from?

A hatchery quality Golden Sebright

Oh, sorry. I have brain fog today. Anyways, so would it be a mutt or cross or whatever? Does Royal King and TYC sell mutts?
He is a sweetie, but I am afraid that he will become aggressive if I get rid of the other rooster or neuter it or whatever. I am new
to this and feel dumb and at the bottom of a pecking order as compared to my career. Hatchery quality is probably poor compared to private breeders? And you probably have to know what your looking for to suit your own goals, even with a breeder.
My goals are small right now because I do feel inadequate.
Thanks
Tammy

You shouldn't feel bad! We all had to start as beginners at one point in time. Hatchery quality doesn't always mean a mutt just pet quality. The birds from hatchery are not bred to the SOP so would not do well in a show but it doesn't make them any less beautiful.

Yup. Hatchery chickens can be just as good of pets as show quality ones. :)

yes hes a golden sebright just has the wrong comb type. would say oegb but he doesnt have rooster feathering (hes hen feathered)

Thanks, Winston is a sweet heart and protects me from Weston , aka Bruce Lee, aka Barney Fife, my belgium d'uccle who hates me and tries to attack me. I guess I just need to remember what my original goals were and stick with that. However, accidentally getting 2 roosters can easily change goals and create new problems. I wont fret over where I get my chickens for now cause I don't show them or breed them. So, for now Weston is my only problem. I do believe that Weston is a direct descendant from the Bruce Lee project. LOL! Thanks again for the support.
