No, an Easter Egger is a 'breed' of chicken that lays light colored/pastel green, blue or pink eggs.

Well she's laying very light colored almost a neud color. Still waiting on Miss Blue to lay. I'm hopeful she'll lay a green egg. ;-) I'd luv that!

Easter egger is a generic term for birds bred to lay green or blue eggs, Easter egg colored eggs. They're often sold from hatcheries as ameraucana or aracauna, but those are pure breeds and easter eggers aren't. They're usually great backyard chickens who add color to the egg basket.
