Breed????

This is one of my in-law's chickens (foreground) & none of us is sure what it is or if it's a rooster or a hen. It's about 2-3 mths old. (Sorry for the poor pics.) Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's a cockerel. Where did they get him?

They got it from a friend of the family, but no info given. And they were hoping it was a hen.

I agree on that it's a boy, but I have no clue which breed! In the first pic I thought partridge something, but the second one, I don't know! Very handsome!
