Breeder Coops and Runs - Designs and Ideas Wanted

Hey folks,

I am moving from having an solely an egg laying flock to working with specific breeds. While there are a tremendous amount of ideas for various size coops on this site, I have not found much in regard to setups for running a breeder operation. I recently ran power and water to my coop and have a five acre farm. If folks would share some designs, layouts, and their considerations, I would greatly appreciate the information.

Why don't you search for " Breeder Pens " in the search bar at the top of the page? There's a lot of threads that come up with pictures you can get some ideas from.

I copied this design (made the roof sturdier, and used welded wire with chicken wire over it) and it was a pretty quick build.
