Try your local Craigslist.

Yep, if you're not looking for anything in specific, go for Craiglist. But honestly if you just want some normal Barred Rocks, you can order from hatcheries or get from local feedstores too. Most local breeers have the same stock they do, and breed for the same goal they do.


If you're looking for something special (heritage bred, show quality, bred for dual purpose, etc) then the best to do is look up the directories from the Club of the breed you like, or ask around for a breeder of that particular breed and the purpose you want.
