Breeding a bantam Roo to a standard size hen

Hi,
Just curious can a bantam roo be bred to a standard sized hen to create better color in the larger breed?

I see why not! Go for it if you want a medium sized chick out of both parents. I am going to do that with my Welsummer Bantam roo with Welsummer LF hens along with the bantams as well.
