Do you know what two breeds were used in the cross to get the red sex-link rooster?? I can figure it out by using the online "chicken calculator" if you know that.
Debbie
Ok...assuming it is genetically similar to an ISA Brown (white patterned red columbian)....
From what I can tell...Crossing the rooster to your barred rock should produce ...
Pullets: wit unicolor•E | white unicolor•E
Ratio = 1/4 = 25%, minimum of animals to breed: 4 Pullets: zwart unicolor•E | black unicolor•E
Ratio = 1/4 = 25%, minimum of animals to breed: 4 Cockerels: wit unicolor•E koekoek | white unicolor•E barred
Ratio = 1/4 = 25%, minimum of animals to breed: 4 Cockerels: zwart unicolor•E koekoek | black unicolor•E barred
Ratio = 1/4 = 25%, minimum of animals to breed: 4
