Breeding and Feeding Malaysian Trumpet Snails to Chickens and Ducks?

So, I have some Malaysian Trumpet snails, and I was thinking that they would be a good source of protein and calcium. They wouldn't be hard to breed as I could just put em' in a bucket with some guppy-weed and feed them with compostable materials such as wilting broccoli leaves, leftover veggies, and maybe some weeds I have growing around the yard{I would need to research the weeds the ensure that they won't kill or harm the snails.} The guppy-weed would keep down ammonia and nitrates and any excess could be fed to the ducks. Any thoughts?

they normally eat snails and theres not issue. just keep an eye out for gapeworms that can be in snails
