Breeding and Grow Out Pens

I want to get an idea of what people do for breeding and grow out pens. I am looking more for how much space is needed for a few breeds. It seems a lot of people dismantle their breeding pens, so I am thinking that most people use separate grow out pens? I have a main coop that will be good for the girls during the winter since I have an outlet, but I need to decide how to build extra pens.

I've searched and all I can find are pictures of people's very nice breeding pens, but I am interested more in the space and efficient designs.

Hi, I had girls of various ages at one time. All I did was build a simple box against one wall in my hen house. Installed a simple hinged frame/Hardware cloth roof and put babies in there. When I felt they were big enough to mingle with bigger ones, I took it apart and stored it for next time i get babies.
