First, would a bantum roo and a standard hen breed to make hatching eggs? im thinking of breeding a cochin bantum with like a RIR or a red sex... what would the offspring be like? bantum or standard or somewhere in the middle?

Somewhere in the middle. And yes, it can and does happen.

why not just breed a giant cochin to a rir? sounds better then using a bantam! plus breeding junk equals junk i wouldnt want to breed this.
