Breeding Broilers at Home

We have a white rock broiler roo and one hen left from our flock this summer. My dh was hoping that we could let them breed and just "make our own" meat chicks over the winter months. I can't find any information on if this is possible. How do the hatcheries breed them? Ours are four months old now and are in great condition as far as we can tell.

Has anyone done this?
