I've got 12 eggs from Blue Plymouth Rock Rooster and a Black Australorp hen in the incubator. I would like to keep 2-4 pullets from this hatch, but am wondering about genetics when it comes to keeping the pellets as hens in with the Rooster who fathered them. Obviously, a rooster will be rooster regardless that's he's being a rooster with his own girls.
What concerns would there be? Any eggs these girls lay would be fertilized by their daddy and possibly sold or incubated and hatched for sale.
Thoughts? Concerns about incest?

You can breed father to daughter and brother to sister in poultry, so it’ll be ok.
