I just got 3 Chocolate Bantam Wyandottes from Sand Hill as bonus chicks. Strangely, they look sort of like 2 splash and a blue. Can anyone fill me on the Chocolate gene or direct me to a site that I can read about it? I think it would be cool, but I was not intending to start a Chocolate project, so if I have them, I want to know what works and what doesn't. Are they a dilute of Blue, is that why they are looking like BBS? I know with rabbits you can get Chocolates when breeding solid color rabbits together, so is it like that with chickens too?
Thanks in advance poultry gods and goddesses on any info you care to share!

They arent true chocolate but rather from a dunn breeding. There are several topics on breeding dun on tbe forum already.
